A year into the second Trump administration, U.S. CEOs are more likely to deprioritize sustainability, according to a recent survey. However, companies still have stakeholder and regulatory obligations to fulfill, and GreenBiz26 provided a venue for thousands of corporate sustainability professionals to share their learnings.
The annual conference convened thousands of corporate sustainability and ESG professionals in Phoenix from Feb. 17-19. The 2027 iteration of the event will move to San Diego, the Trellis Group — the climate-focused media and events company which hosts the conference each year — announced in February.
In addition to hosting conversations about the state of the clean energy transition and artificial intelligence, the conference included notable discussions focused on how the role of the chief sustainability officer has evolved and how large companies are tackling scope 3 emissions.
